What is WPCompress? Why should you use it?

WPCompress _feature

WPCompress is a free Image optimization and Image compression plugin. They have already launched their beta version and it seems quite interesting because they are offering all their services free of cost.

The plugin offers several premium features, some of them are:

  1. Users can take a backup of the original images in case they want them back at some point.
  2. It has optimization level option which lets you choose the level of compression with your images.
  3. Also, it allows users to choose whether or not they want to Preserve their EXIF data. This may be beneficial for Photographers.
  4. And more.

Why Should I use WPCOMPRESS?

When a site has smaller images size it will load faster. Faster loading can increase the number of visitors anyone can get. Plus, they’d be satisfied ’cause it’s easily accessible.

WPCOMPRESS helps us in doing this for free without any limits. It has a Bulk Compress option which compresses all the images at once.

I have used a lot of image compression plugins before and the biggest issue that I faced was that it had a size limit or limited no. of free compressions per month.
