Feature Image - Connect your Domain to Another Hosting service

Most of us purchase the hosting and the domain from different companies. We usually do this because we get the best prices from different providers.
But, the point is most people don’t know how to assign their domain name servers to host service.

Well, don’t worry. Because, in this post, I’m going to guide you on how to Connect your Domain to another Hosting using Name Servers.

Table of Contents

Find the Name Server of your Hosting.

Usually, whenever you purchase your hosting through any hosting provider they always e-mail you basic installation details in your e-mail account. In case, something went wrong or you mistakenly deleted the e-mail, then there are always other options to help you.

You can find the Name Servers (NS) by using any of the methods mention below:

  1.  You can Call or E-mail the Hosting Provider
  2.  Just Google it!

Basically, the Second method is the easiest one. Use Google to Find the Name Server of your Hosting Provider.

Now that you’ve got the Name Servers, Let’s proceed further.

Changing your Domain Name Servers

Now, it’s time you replace your Domain Nameservers with the ones your Hosting Provider provides you.

In this post, I’m going to demonstrate the process using two Domain Providers: Bigrock and Godaddy

Let’s try using BigRock:

  1. Go to your Domain’s panel.
  2. Choose your domain name.
  3. Then click on Name Servers option and replace them with the one your Hosting Provider provides you [Check the Screenshot below].

  3.  Search for Manage DNS option.

  5.  Enter the Name Servers provided by your Hosting Service.

And, you’re done. Generally, it takes 1 to 3 hours but in some cases, it can take up to 48 to 72 hours to fully reflect the changes.

Great blog! Is your theme custom made or did you download it from somewhere? A theme like yours with a few simple adjustements would really make my blog jump out. Please let me know where you got your theme. Bless you
